ILONE BRUIJN
Ilone Bruijn is cameravrouw, film maakster, performer/model en kunstenares. Zij deed studeerde aan de Academie Minerva te Groningen. Nog tijdens haar studie jaren sleepte ze al een bijzondere prijs in de wacht. Voor deze avond heeft ze wat bijzonders gemaakt...
ARAZ
Kunstenaar Araz Mori uit Irak kreeg in 1997 de uitnodinging om in Nederland een nieuw leven te beginnen. De vochtige lucht en het Hollandse licht brachten hem inspiratie. Tijdens My Super Sweet 30 exposeert hij met Caligrafieen van de Arabische vertaling van de teksten van Justine voor de Expositie 'The Arabian Prince' in Tommyz Toko te Amsterdam.
FARAH DAY
Farah Day is a versatile music personality who as vocalist as well as flautist expressively and freely moves around in today’s modern music such as jazz-dance, funky-house, jazzy lounge and soulful-trance.
She mixes her own music with loops, electronic effects and acoustic instruments, surrounding her warm songs with a cosy and grooving jazz sound. Through her background in jazz-, classical- and world music she has managed to create a very personal sound that can easily be recognised.
Farah Day is the pseudonym for Marijke Faber.
At a young age Farah Day began to make music. Learned to play the guitar, flute, vocals and studied at the Utrecht/Hilversum Academy of Music majoring in flute (classical) and vocals (light music). After her graduation Farah Day further developed her musical skills in Jazz, World Music, Improvisation Techniques and the electronic trends Dance, Techno, Lounge, Trance. Thanks to this broad musical development she easily mixes the different styles of music.
In 1999/2000 Farah Day set up the ensemble Emanon in which music from 20th century composers as Edgar Varese were mixed with newly written or arranged compositions. Performers were Farah Day flute/vocals, jazz pianist Dirk Balthaus, classical guitarist Cees Sax (Utrecht Guitar Duo) and percussionist Kim Weemhoff.
In 2002/2003 she toured with jazz band Starbase 4 conducted by Ghasem Batamuntu where Farah Day performed with different guest soloists e.g. Charley Green.
In 2004 Farah Day toured with her own band “Farah Day & Friends”, playing in different theatres such as the Bimhuis and Bellevue Theater.
Members of the band were: Farah Day – vocals/flute, Johnny Tevreden - bass guitar/double-bass, Bas Mulder – guitar, Kim Weemhoff – percussion/electro sounds.
This year Farah Day started recording her own songs, working closely together with producer Jina Sumedi www.jina.nl. The songs with searching lyrics have modern arrangements with a jazzy-lounge/trance sound which are accompanied by acoustic instrumentalists. The release of the CD is expected in 2006.

KAPELLMEISTER CONRAD
Not a Fulltime DJ, but a Funtime DJ. Born in East-Berlin, playing in the underground scene, Conrad knows what rocks a party. From Balkan via Break Beats to Progressive, come and see hear feel and dance for yourself.
DJ MARON
Martijn van der Ven aka DJ Maron had his first taste of vinyl when he was seven. The first record he played was the album by Jeff Waynes "War of the Worlds" which had phenomenal sounds that influenced his interest in music. He played acoustic guitar for about six years and at the age of 16 he started importing house music from Florence and London. Although the music never lost his attention, he went to University and obtained his degree in Technical Business Administration and also got his 2nd degree in teaching. During his studies he performed at several parties for students.
In addition to this, he organised the very first Modern Dance party in 1989 in Alkmaar. He conducted a radio program called "Hendriks & Van der Ven" at the radio station formerly known as Radio Plus as well as at other radio stations. During these broadcasts which took place for more than four consecutive years, he shared his vision on modern dance music with the audience. At several parties they broadcast via a livelink onsite.
He had his base at Kingdom Venue (formerly Marcanti Plaza, old cinema-theater) in Amsterdam, one of the biggest clubs in the Dutch dance scene. DJs like Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, Marco V, Armin van Buuren and many other headliners ripped off the daylights at this venue. In the summer of 2004, Maron was invited by a Jordanian organisation, www.distantheat.com , to spin with Ferry Corsten in the middle of the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan. This inspired him to search for new performance opportunities at international venues in the Middle East, South America and North Eastern Europe.
At this point in time he decided to change his career and become a professional Entrepeneur, DJ and Producer, leaving behind a successful six year long career at Royal Dutch Telecom (KPN). He is now also a Managing Director of Insomnia Events, a young dynamic organisation which develops concepts and events internally and for third-parties. Insomnia Events produces music, events and is concept broker in lifestyle-formats. Experience Life and Live now! The underground house parties managed by Maron are now one of the more experimenting parties that are held for real underground clubbers. Locations where these are held include Minsk (Belarus) and ‘the Catacombe‘ beneath a church in Amsterdam and Beirut (Lebanon). At present DJs like Fred Numf, Darren Tate, Eric Cross, Joost van Bellen, Ernesto vs. Bastian, Marco V and many more have already blasted at his venues. One of the new labels, Rhythm of Life, will present theater and dance in one concept with top of the bill artists for upperclass business to business and to consumers bringing a whole new way of pre-nightlife and nightlife spectacle with three aspects, to wine, to dine and to dance ! His new role, Master-Composer connecting Theatre and dance.. Believe in what you want to believe !
His first music-co-production was a remix of Three Drives - Greece 2000 (Marcel Woods rmx, DJ Maron rmx and DJ Chus rmx) released in May 2005 by Massive Drive (Ton TB and Erik de Koning). This track has been played many respected DJs worldwide. He created this track together with new Dutch talents Rafaël Frost, Hugo Zwarts and Miss Chianty. After working together on this project, Frost and Maron became friends and combined forces.
They have worked together as Frost & Maron and there new single Mute your Mind was released under the new label of Ferry Corsten in januari 2006, and was hammered by Ferry, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Above and Beyond and many respected DJ’s worldwide. The next single "Time Out" is also released summer 2006. Frost & Maron were invited by Ferry Corsten L.E.F. stage at Dance Valley 2006. The third single will be a project Maron Solo together with a few international producers.

KID GOESTING
Kid Goesting is een oude bekende in de Amsterdamse electro scene. Zo'n vijf jaar geleden begon hij met twee vrienden het electro deejay collectief _xerox. Ze organiseerden feesten in het Amsterdamse underground circuit. Op een gegeven moment werd de electro sound hipper en hipper en werden ze opgemerkt door zalen als Paradiso en Mazzo. Daarnaast hebben ze altijd hun eigen 'thuishonk' gehouden, de dinsdag avond in Vaaghuyzen. Inmiddels is het collectief uit elkaar gevallen en heeft KidGoesting een maandelijkse avond in Paradiso en is hij resident deejay bij Club Divine, een wekelijkse, gay minded, electro avond in Mazzo. Zijn stijl is te omschrijven als electro, electroclash, house en disco. Inmiddels heeft hij o.a. in de USA, Frankrijk en België gedraaid en zijn z'n mixen terug te vinden op de vpro site www.3voor12.nl .Ook runt KidGoesting zijn eigen BlackLabel Records wat gedistribueerd wordt via Rushhour Amsterdam. De derde release (van Comtron, wat bestaat uit leden van Bastian) is inmiddels een feit. Dus verwacht vrijdag een mix van house, techno, electro en aanverwante dansbare stijlen.
BOB BISHOP
Bob Bishop, DJ and producer from Amsterdam, Netherlands. Being raised in a musical family, music became a part of his life from an early age. Electronic music first caught his attention in the early 90, and he started to DJ'ing in 1995. After developing a more focused interest in house and techno, Bob Bishop has become a marker for quality in his DJ'ing and spins a variety of styles, from the minimal techno & house over tech-house to the more funky Detroit techno. They consist the basis of the human soul, the movement of the body.
